Jim Clines, LMFT
With over two decades as a seasoned expert in outpatient mental health, my extensive experience enriches every client interaction. My approach is fundamentally trauma-informed, recognizing the profound impact of relational health on a person’s overall sense of well-being. Clients come to find tremendous value in the psycho-spiritual healing and relational therapy I offer—be it for individuals or couples—crafted to resonate with their unique perspectives on life.
My methods are integrative at the core, each one tailored to fit the worldview of the person seeking assistance. This approach is not only evidence-based but also deeply humanistic, creating a rich dialogue that affords clients a sense of being truly seen and respected as complete individuals, rather than mere collections of symptoms.
I specialize in helping people navigate the challenging terrain of recovery from betrayal trauma and adjust after divorces, expanding on the traditional scope of couples therapy. The journey into treating trauma has led me to pursue comprehensive training, culminating in a Certification in Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy. As we await FDA approval of several psychedelic medicines, I currently facilitate Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
My practice is the embodiment of client-centered care. By integrating my academic grounding in philosophy, theology, and systemic mental health, I can align with my patients’ own perceptions of themselves and the world. It’s with great reverence that I join my clients on their paths to healing, transforming, and thriving, considering it a privileged opportunity to accompany them through their life’s chapters.
